About the Author

ADAM ALBRECHT IS the Founder and CEO of the advertising and ideas agency The Weaponry. The agency’s broad portfolio of clients ranges from legendary international brands to innovative startups. Prior to The Weaponry, he worked at renowned advertising agencies Cramer Krasselt, Engauge Marketing, and Moxie in roles ranging from copywriter to Chief Creative Officer.

Adam has worked on iconic brands including Reddi-Wip, Nike, Coca-Cola, Dasani, Nationwide Insurance, Wells Fargo, UPS, Hertz, Safelite, Mizuno, Bob Evans, Chick-fil-A, GNC, Universal Studios, AMC Theaters, Volvo, Prevost, SeaDoo, Ski-Doo, and Can-Am.

Adam earned a double major in psychology and journalism from the University of Wisconsin. He also captained the Badgers’ Big Ten Conference Champion track and field team, becoming the number one hammer thrower and number four discus thrower in school history.

In high school, Adam was a two-time New England track and field champion in the discus. His senior year, he set a New Hampshire state record just eight months after undergoing ACL reconstruction surgery.

Today, Adam lives in Milwaukee with his wife Dawn and children Ava, Johann, and Magnus. He enjoys all things outdoors and adventurous. During his free time, he coaches youth football and high school track and field.
